WELCOME TO TSAPAKIS HOTEL
Come to the south coast of Heraklion. After the Asterousia mountains, you will be charmed by the crystal clear waters of the Libyan sea, while approaching the famous Cape Lendas that looks like a lion. In ancient mythology, it used to be one of the lions pulling the wagon of goddess Rea. This is why the ancient town was called Levin. Nowadays, it is called Lendas.
In ancient times it was the port of Gortys. Lendas was well known for its artesian springs due to which the Asklipiion was founded there, a famous center of hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and psychiatry.
